A force to be reckoned with in the hip hop scene, Mala Reignz brings the punch to any beat. Winner of multiple awards, featured in The Source magazine, and many other super achievements, Mala is determined to make a name for herself in the industry. Her recent music video is getting a lot of buzz for her song, “Soul Slap”.

When she’s not lighting up the track, she’s part owner of Scholar VMG Music Group, jewelry designer (Bad Girl Chainz), and a model/fashionista.

RELIEF FOR PUERTO RICO: FAT JOE

Relief For Puerto Rico: FAT JOE

Puerto Rico is the latest victim in this string of Hurricane’s that have been causing so much destruction. Last month they were hit by a brutal category 5 storm, knocking out essential needs. Clean water is in short supply, food serves are lacking, and people have been left with no heat or electricity. Returning to a sense of normalcy after the hurricane has proven very difficult for the island, and the amount of official government aid they have received in the wake of the storm just hasn’t been enough.

Fortunately there are amazing people out there who are doing everything they can to help the people of Puerto Rico. Alongside JAYZ and TIDAL, Conquer Hip Hop Artist Fat Joe has been doing his part to help revitalize our this fellow US territory. 2 million pounds worth of supplies and goods have been collected from the city of New York for the people of Puerto Rico.

“As U.S. citizens, Puerto Rico has paid their part. I have two little cousins that’s in the army right now, willing to give their life for this country. And the fact that it took so long to get any help out there, that’s what I mean. So we had to mobilize and power ourselves to collect canned foods and waters and women’s hygiene and toothpastes to give back to our own community, and that we did.” – Fat Joe

Fat Joe also announced the TIDAL X concert set for Oct. 17th, where he will take the stage with JAY Z, Jennifer Lopez, DJ Khaled, Cardi B, and many more; with all proceeds going to disaster relief and recovery. In the aftermath of these hurricanes we need to remember to show our support and love for the people of Puerto Rico. They are currently dealing with near apocalyptic conditions, and in many places electricity may not return for at least a half a year. But if we band together, and give them the help they need, they can make it through these tough times.

PHILLY HIP HOP IS MAKING A COMEBACK!

Hip Hop Artist: CASSIDY LARSINY

When Cassidy burst onto the scene in 2004, he achieved the status of “legendary” fairly quickly.  After releasing such hits as “Hotel” (featuring R. Kelly), “Husslin” featuring Swizz Beats, and “I’m A Hustla”, Cassidy seemed to vanish.

News broke that Cassidy was involved in a life-threatening car accident in 2006, and little has been seen or heard from him since.

Until now.

In the past year, Cassidy has been releasing freestyle after freestyle, banger after banger.  And we’re not ready for any of it.  Case in point – this recent Vlad feature that’s steady climbing over 200,000 views, and Cassidy is showing no signs of stopping.

ARTIST, RAPPER, PRODUCER: J30

Hip Hop Artist: J30

Born into a musical family, J30 aka/ Justin Thomas is a model, producer, rapper, and singer-songwriter. He is the son of famous leading lady Ellen “ET” Thomas of the old school R&B group Caviar. Growing up in the Bronx, NY surrounded by his mother’s Soulful sounds and the Hip-Hop beats in the streets it was inevitable that he would soon become the multi-talented artist known as J30.

J30 is steadily building his brand not only as an artist but as an entrepreneur with his Indie music company ScholarVMG co-owned with Partner and Hip-Hop artist Mala Reignz. His Scholar Vision Music Group was born out of the collaborative efforts of Co-Owners Mala Reignz and J30 and independent Music artists based out of The Bronx, New York. His production company also houses Neo-Soul artist Wednesday Atoms and emerging rapper Ray Ransum.

The name J30 and his music is creating a buzz and popping up everywhere.
