Can you guess the one thing all these artist have in common? Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, the late Teddy Pendergrass, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Hall and Oates, Barbara Mason, Jean Carne, Bruce Springsteen, Dennis Edwards, the Temptations and Chaka Khan.

TRU is the answer.

TRU has performed with all the above artist. They originated from their hometown of Camden, NJ.  They began there musical journey in 1994.  They have been able to travel the world and build a strong fan base.  The meaning behind the bands name is TALENTED, RELIGIOUS AND UNIQUE

“It’s a Shame” takes me back to my childhood playing on the sidewalk in Staten Island, NY, while the parents gathered around drinking tab, listening to R & B.
