“The Bad Guy with the Big Heart” – Waylon Jennings

Known as a sort of musical rebel, Waylon Jennings is credited with popularizing the gritty, rock-influenced sound of outlaw country music. At every turn he challenged the status quo of country music, turning down and losing record labels due to his unwillingness to conform. This and his party heavy lifestyle led him to be labeled as an “outlaw” in the world of country. Now this outlaw’s music is here to stay, as an official Platinum Artist here on getconquer.com!

Jennings’ Outlaw style takes on a tough, bass heavy sound; breaking away from the tighter production of traditional country music for something more raw and edgy, such as his first number one hit “This Time”.

Jennings brought something all his own to the table, and we can definitely respect that steadfast desire to make music his way, regardless of what was expected or popular at the time. People likened him to a villain, but that black hat represents a hero for the rebellious, and the innovative.

Don’t ever try and be like anybody else and don’t be afraid to take risks.

SHOW OFF YOUR LOVE OF MUSIC

Strung

With creativity time and love anything is possible. That is exactly what Jenny and Tim were thinking when they created their first-ever Strung bracelet. The duo are part of a band called Blameshift. They have been around the music industry for over 10 years, traveling half a million miles and playing over 2,000 shows. They know just about everything there is to know about the music industry.

In mid-July 2014 in Clifton New Jersey as Jenny watched Tim change his guitar strings her eyes glanced over to see the strings wrapped in a circular fashion. Her mind wandered to the idea of re-purposing these old guitar strings that she had seen for years laying around the bus. With some creativity time and a whole lot of love they formed the first strung bracelet. The fans went crazy they sold out the first night. Jenny was under extreme pressure to have enough bracelets ready for the next show the following night. They worked through the night. Fans from all around the country we’re soon telling them that the bracelets brought them good luck it made them feel happy. Jenny and Tim soon realized that they had a secondary stream of income that was helping propel their musical dreams.

ROCK POP DANCE IN ONE BAND? YOLO!

Rock Artist: YOLO

This band is more than just a Drake reference.  You Only Live Once is a curious mix of pop, hardcore rock, and everything in between, and they just get better with age.  The Los-Angeles based group has been featured on talent shows such as American Idol, X Factor, and America’s Got Talent, as well as headlined for some major bands.

YOLO may look sweet, but their music packs a serious wake-up punch.  Formed from two sisters, their style jumps from the seriously heavy rock feel like found in their song, “Do or Die” to dance-rock anthem, “Lost Me At Goodbye”, in a heartbeat.  A sound to rival mainstream bands like Paramore and the like.
