BROADWAY HERE SHE COMES!

Singer Songwriter: Jeneen Terrana

Jeneen Terrana just spent the last two months performing in her very first play the Shakespeare production – Macbeth! It makes perfect sense she would fit well into the Broadway scene. She spent her life listening to her Sicilian Grandfather act out full operas every Sunday around the dinner table.  He would play every role and on occasion ask Jeneen to jump in and play a character.
When asked if she would like to play the role of one of the witches of Macbeth she jumped at the chance. The director was pushing the envelope with his version of Macbeth. Rather than the stage being set in cold, foggy Scotland, a place whose spirit seems to permeate the play, it was being re-set on a tropical island in the Pacific. Jeneen was cast for the role of Kaiwhatu (a Maori name) that translate as the Three Fates in Greek mythology. They embody the spirit world of the island’s indigenous people. The performance was held in Brooklyn at the Theater 2020116 Pierrepont St. BrooklynNY and Cadman Plaza ParkBrooklynNY  Jeneen is currently auditioning for future roles in other plays.  You can Watch the Trailer and Visit the Theater on Facebook

Jeneen will also be in the studio recording some tracks for songwriter Dennis Bergman’s upcoming album. They will be performing together July 26 At The Ridge 1281 Salt Springs Rd Chittenango, NY. She will perform a duet show with Silbin Sandovar Aug 2 in Queens. Then a show with her band for the Queens of Queens festival on August 27th. Make sure to also stay connected to her schedule of events on her website. She’s been writing some brand-new tracks, and is looking forward to recording a new album this fall.
